The Earth's Crust is the layer of the Earth farthest from the Inner Core (the center of the Earth). It is the outermost part of the Earth, the Crust acts like a shell surrounding our Earth. It is made of many different types of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The Crust is the thinnest of the Earth's four layers. The temperature of the Earth's Crust is from about 200°C (392°F) to 400°C (752°F).
